Blackstone Brand development
Logo and Packaging Design
Initially I was given the brand name and a deadline. My first task was to prepare a concept for a logo to present to my team as an effort to receive feedback and to pick the best couple of options to show to our client. As soon as I had a few handpicked concepts, we were happy to show our progress and receive our first verdict, which had very pleasing results as one of the concepts was decided on.
I was given the opportunity to work on one of my most interesting projects so far. I was entrusted with the responsibility of creating a brand from scratch for one of their clients. The project landed itself with a simple brief requesting the creation of multiple packaging consisting of a couple meat products and their own branding work.

This lead to the second stage of the logo which was to version out a few more design options in relation to the concept, and represent a more finalized idea. At this stage, colour was also introduced giving the logo a better feel of how it would look. At this point I was in direct contact with our client and was given the go ahead to represent my work. It didn't take long before we settled on their ideal design which represents the product they wanted to produce. Blackstone.

Blackstone Packaging
With the finalised logo approved, we could start moving onto the first packaging design. The client requested that the design follows a premium aesthetic as it was meant to be a high quality product. Keeping in mind that this is meant to be a range of products, I created a set of guidelines to be followed as to respect the integrity of the branding. With a strategy in mind and multiple inspirational moodboards I was able to create a few design concepts with the help of our library of stock imagery.

With a few tweaks and some feedback from my design team I was happy to present my first mockups to the client. Showcasing my work resulted in a chosen concept and a way forward. At this point the idea was clear and working on the design was a breeze. Given all the necessary information and labels needed for the final print and staying in direct contact with our client, I procured a finalized design for the various products requested. With the help of their feedback I was able to present them with mock-ups of how the final products will look.
